PagBiOmicS × BIOMOL: Life Sciences in Portugal
Through the new role of its founder, Dany Domínguez Pérez, in Life Sciences & Clinical Business Development for BIOMOL SL in Portugal, PagBiOmicS is taking an important step towards connecting scientific consulting with commercial experience to support academic, clinical and Life Sciences organisations. Since August 2026, this role has created a practical bridge between scientific requirements and BIOMOL’s multi-brand portfolio, specialised advice, technical service and after-sales support.
From scientific requirements to complete workflows
Research and clinical results rarely depend on a single product. They emerge from connected decisions: sample collection, preparation and extraction; quality control; molecular analysis; sequencing or proteomics; data interpretation; and reliable technical support.
The objective is practical: listen to each laboratory, understand the complete workflow and help identify suitable equipment, reagents, consumables and services.
A broad and interconnected portfolio
BIOMOL is a multi-brand distributor and manufacturer with more than 30 years of experience. Its activity spans molecular and cell biology, diagnostics, NGS, proteins, immunoassays, laboratory instrumentation and other areas of research and clinical practice.
The matrix below presents 40 featured brands across eight overlapping solution areas. A brand may appear in several categories because modern technologies frequently support more than one stage of a workflow.

The portfolio brings together established multinational and widely recognised laboratory brands, including Eppendorf, Thermo Fisher Scientific, Fisher Scientific, Roche, Merck and Beckman Coulter.
Alongside these established manufacturers, selected emerging technologies, exclusive distribution agreements and proprietary or co-produced solutions add distinctive value across sample preparation, diagnostics and translational workflows.
Covaris, for instance, provides a remarkable set of solutions based on Adaptive Focused Acoustics (AFA), enabling controlled and reproducible sample preparation, including DNA and RNA fragmentation, protein extraction and the preparation of challenging FFPE samples for genomic, NGS and proteomic workflows.
Another point of differentiation is BIOMOL’s in-house and co-produced activity. The company highlights milestones in its own production and a co-production collaboration with Health in Code, supporting innovative and customised solutions.
Other distinctive solutions come through CellBxHealth, formerly ANGLE. CellBxHealth develops liquid-biopsy solutions based on the Parsortix® platform. Its systems and research-use kits support the enrichment and downstream analysis of circulating tumour cells.
